ABOUT BIOCOMP

Biocomp was started in 2011 by a group of people from the Netherlands who spent most of their holidays in Nepal and wanted to give something back to the country. They saw how the waste management situation in Nepal compromised the country’s beauty and decided to start a waste management company to solve this issue.

Since more than 70% of the waste is organic, Biocomp started with the collection and recycling of organic waste. Now, nine years on, Biocomp processes over 10,000 tons of waste and sells compost to farmers and horticulturists in most districts in Nepal.
